Dark Passion Play Impressions
Just listened 3 times of Nightwish's "Dark Passion Play". I have to say that they did well. The songs
- “Bye Bye Beautiful”
- “Eva”
- “Amaranth”
- “Erämaan Viimeinen”
are very good singles.
But… The band is great while Tarja made it unique.
I might go buy "Made In Hong Kong (And In Various Other Places)"
to see how the new Lead vocals Anette Olzon sings those old Tarja-Era hits.
Anette has a nice voice, She should do most ballads hits well.
But she's not operatic.So I'm eager to see how she would sing songs like
- “The Phantom of the Opera”
- “Passion and the Opera”
- “Stargazers”
- “Walking in The Air”
Oh they should have considered getting a countertenor!
